Began providing Home and Community Based Services to individuals enrolled in the waiver who had chosen Spaulding to provide their services. The two waiver services offered were waiver service coordination and residential habilitation.

Began providing Comprehensive Medicaid Case Management services to individuals residing at home or in a Family Care setting. Assisted one individual to move from a certified community residence into independent living. Two supported apartments were opened in Fayetteville.

Spaulding began collaboration at a Rill Avenue home serving a technologically dependent young girl in her own family home. Supports were brought into the home.

South Avenue Guest House opened providing planned respite to 50 families. Comprehensive Family Support Demonstration Project began. The two year grant project was developed to work with ten families who had a child with a developmental disability living at home.
